Accessibility Statement
Our Core Commitment
Andifo is dedicated to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards across all of our internal and client web architectures.
Target Standards & Technical Measures
We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA requirements. To uphold these standards, we implement the following technical measures:
- High Contrast Ratios: Text elements maintain a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 against their backgrounds (and 3:1 for large text) for readability across lighting environments.
- Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements (buttons, links, accordions, and dialogs) are operable using keyboard input with visible focus rings.
- Semantic HTML: Use of semantic HTML5 landmark tags (
<header>,<main>,<nav>,<footer>) and proper ARIA states for assistive technologies. - Descriptive Image Alt Text: Meaningful alternatives for all illustrative visuals and diagrams.
- Reduced Motion Compliance: Respecting the
prefers-reduced-motionsystem query to disable superfluous transitions.
Known Limitations & Continuous Improvement
While we strive to adhere to the highest standards, some content or interactive previews may have temporary limitations:
- Some legacy third-party video embeds or calendar iframes may have minor contrast or tab-focus nuances outside our direct code control.
- We actively audit new pages during our bi-weekly sprint releases to identify and rectify any newly emerged markup issues.
